Listen, if your students come from poverty, you may have challenges. Poverty can have nasty effects on your students’ brains. But the opportunities are amazing! Equity is the solution. You’ll learn HOW to foster equity for a daily “love of learning.”

Unless your staff believe it is possible to change, want to make the changes and then actually implement them, your odds of success are pretty low. This message is all about how to improve the odds. How? Your biggest challenge is the “how-to” for fostering equity at your school. I will show you how it can be done and how it has already been done across the country. Here’s feedback from last year’s event…

“This has been one of the BEST conferences, and the research was incredibly powerful.” – Michelle D. Virginia Beach, VA

But, if you want to know what’s in the course, how it is different, what you will gain from it, and how we stack up, lean in and keep reading.

Summer learning gives staff the rare, in-depth advantage to learn this startling research and make plans for implementation. Get trained by the original brain-based, evidence-powered training that is making a difference in the lives of thousands. Here’s what one of last year’s participants said…

“Out of all the PDs I have ever attended I can honestly say this is the clearest and surest path to teacher and school success. This workshop is truly an amazing tool and I am so thankful I attended.”  – Dana D., OK

Before you get the inside scoop on this 3-Day Jensen Event, “Teaching & Engaging with Poverty & Equity in Mind”  let’s find out if this program is for you.

Check the items below to see if you have any of the everyday struggles that many other teachers at Title 1 Schools have.

Do your students:

  • Start below grade level in reading and math?

  • Consume WAY too much of your precious time?

  • Have an attitude that infects others in the class?

  • Underperform from lack of effort or motivation?

  • Miss classes, are truant or are at risk to dropout?

  • Arrive at or below grade level and continue to struggle?

  • Act out, talk back, shout or misbehave?

If these are some of your issues you are having in the classroom, please keep reading. You are about to learn about a revolutionary program that has 1000’s of educators raving about it. Maybe you’ll be another success story like this teacher, a year after they finished this same program.

“Many of my students went from ‘not proficient’ to meeting benchmarks in just one semester.  The growth in my class was one for the record books.  My students improved in all areas and I rose above the district and state average in just one year.  Most importantly, many students told me I was the best teacher they had ever had.” – Janelle H., math teacher, OR.

You want to attend an engaging event, too?
Here’s a brief video shot by one of our participants:

Please let me introduce myself (in the photo). I am a former classroom teacher and author of 31 books including Teaching with Poverty in Mind, Enriching the Brain, Engaging Students with Poverty in Mind and Poor Students Rich Teaching.

My real passion has been helping struggling students become a success. In fact, it was the subject of my doctoral dissertation for my PhD. Jensen Learning only uses engaging, evidence-based tools that work in real schools like yours.

What my research uncovered is not just the corrosive effects of poverty on the brain, but also highly effective equity factors that turn out to be of MASSIVE value when applied a specific way. I verified these strategies by working with hundreds of Title 1 schools.

One school (I worked with twice) has 760 secondary students, with 100% on free and reduced lunch. Data shows 93% of the students are of color. Yet, this school is listed every year in U.S. News and World Report’s Annual “Best 100 High Schools in America.” And, every year, 95% (or more) are accepted to a top university.

Do you still think success is impossible? Listen: impossible means nothing—if you know what to do and how to do it.

Have I got your attention? Are you interested in knowing how this school (and hundreds of others) make jaw-dropping miracles happen every year? If so, the good news is that, as a result of attending the Jensen Learning “Teaching and Engaging with Poverty & Equity in Mind” course:

You Will Get Actionable, Evidence-Based Tools
that Improve Student Behaviors, Attitudes, Capacity and Effort

Unfortunately, there can be cynicism among some educational leaders and classroom teachers out there regarding making changes in their school.   You might hear these leaders and teachers say, “Hey, I won’t be at this school much longer. And besides, there’s not much I could do different anyway.”

They might be right about leaving their school soon. But they’re dead wrong in thinking there’s not much they can do right now.  In this program I will show you precisely what these successful schools do and how they do it so the success can be replicated at your campus. Here’s what a past participant said:

“Your workshop has changed my life. I have had so many success stories; I wouldn’t know where to begin. I have truly rekindled my passion for teaching using your tools of engagement strategies. As a matter of fact, today I was voted Teacher of the Year Yesssssssssssssss!!!!! I look forward every day to engaging my students in the learning process. I honor you and your dedication to providing teachers with the best and latest brain researched strategies to engage all learners of any age or skill level. Forever in gratitude.” – Donna B., 6th grade middle school

Pause for a moment and let that comment soak in… Is that what you were looking for and hoping for? Maybe you’ll be saying what another participant said last summer.

“Absolutely LOVED the training! Such great info, takeaways, energy! Considering taking this course? Do it!”  Emily W., MO
